Questions
What is MorGST? MorGST is GST and office software for Indian CA firms and accounting offices. It collects client documents, checks sales sheets from your own invoices and from Amazon, Flipkart and Meesho, and prepares GSTR-1 data as JSON, Tally XML and Excel files for you to review and file on the GST portal. It runs on Mac, Windows and the web.
Can I run my whole CA office in one place? Mostly. MorGST keeps clients, a document checklist per month, GST return preparation, income and expense accounts, a leads board and team access in one app. GSTR-3B, e-invoicing and e-way bills are not included yet.
Does it work with Tally? Yes. It exports Tally XML so sales entries can be imported into Tally. It does not replace Tally.
Who is it for? Chartered accountants, GST practitioners and accounting offices in India that prepare monthly GST returns for several clients.
Does MorGST file my returns? No. It prepares GSTR-1 files. You review them and file on the GST portal.
Which files can it export? GSTR-1 JSON, Tally XML and Excel.
What is not included yet? GSTR-3B, e-invoicing, e-way bills, filing from inside the app, and a phone app.
What does it cost? Free during early access. Prices come later, and early users hear first.
Where is my data kept? A cloud database with private file storage. Row-level security keeps offices apart.
Which devices does it run on? Mac and Windows apps, and any modern browser.
Can my team have different access? Yes. Give each person view or edit on each section.
