Draft: have a lawyer review before launch. It describes what the app does today and will need updating when that changes.
What MorGST stores
- Your Google account name, email address and photo, used to sign you in and show who you are to your team.
- Your office: its name and logo, its team members and the sections each can open or change.
- Your clients: trade name, party name, GSTIN, email address and phone number.
- The sales sheets you upload (invoice lines), your edits to a return, and the document checklists you create.
- Files your clients send, which you attach to a checklist.
- Your office's income and expense entries, and your leads.
Where it is kept and who can see it
Office data is kept in a cloud database and file storage. Row-level security keeps each office's data apart, and limits each member to the sections the office owner gave them. Client files are in private storage. The office logo is public, because email apps need to load it.
The Inbox, in the desktop app, connects to the mailbox you choose and only reads it. The mailbox app password is encrypted on your own computer and is not sent to the database. If the office turns on sending from MorGST, the text of a document request or team invitation passes through an email delivery service to reach the recipient.
This website
This website has no analytics and no advertising cookies. It loads the Inter font from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when the page opens.
Deleting data
An office owner can delete the office from the office switcher. This permanently removes its clients, uploads, returns, documents and files, accounts, leads and team.
