QRMP filers: the 13th after the quarter
The Quarterly Return Monthly Payment (QRMP) scheme is open to registered persons with aggregate turnover up to Rs 5 crore in the previous financial year who choose it. Others file every month.

|---|---|
| April to June | 13 July |
| July to September | 13 October |
| October to December | 13 January |
| January to March | 13 April |
In the first and second month of a quarter, QRMP filers can optionally upload B2B invoices through the Invoice Furnishing Facility (IFF) by the 13th of the next month, so their buyers can claim credit earlier.
Dates can change
The government can extend a due date by notification, and a late fee applies for each day of delay. The amount is set by notification, so read the current one on the GST portal or at cbic-gst.gov.in before you tell a client a date.
Getting the file ready by the 11th
Most late filings start with documents that arrive late or sheets with errors found on the last day. MorGST keeps a document checklist for each client and month, checks the sales sheet, and prepares the GSTR-1 file as JSON, Tally XML and Excel. It does not file the return: you review the file and file on the portal.
